1. Scope
This policy applies to the Compress50KB website and its browser-based image compressor. By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Image processing stays on your device
When you choose an image, your browser reads and compresses it locally using built-in web technology. The original image and compressed result are not sent to Compress50KB, are not placed on our servers, and are not available to us. Preview and download data exists only within your current browser session and on your device. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working session; any file you download remains wherever you choose to save it.
3. Information the application does not collect
Compress50KB does not provide accounts or forms that collect names, email addresses, account details, uploaded images, compressed images, image metadata, or a history of files processed with the tool. We do not sell, rent, or share information submitted through the compressor because the compressor does not transmit that information to us.
We do not use the contents of your images for training, analysis, moderation, advertising, or any other purpose because those contents are never transmitted to us.
4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We do not set cookies or use local storage to track visitors. We do not use web analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, behavioral advertising, or cross-site tracking. The website does not build profiles of its visitors.
5. Website delivery
As with any website, a standard internet connection must route a request to the infrastructure that serves the page. Compress50KB does not use application code to record those requests, identify visitors, or retain visitor activity. A hosting or network provider may transiently process limited technical information when delivering and protecting the site, subject to its own legal obligations. That technical delivery does not give the provider access to images processed locally by the compressor.
6. Retention and security
Because we do not receive user images, account details, or form submissions, we have no user-content record to retain, recover, disclose, or delete. Local processing also reduces the risks that come with transferring private files over the internet. You remain responsible for securing your own device and any downloaded image.
7. Third-party links
The site may link to resources operated by other organizations. A link does not mean that we control the destination. If you follow one, that organization's privacy policy and terms apply to your visit. Review them before providing any information.
8. Children's privacy
Compress50KB is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. A parent or guardian who has a privacy concern can use the contact route described below.
9. Privacy rights
Privacy laws may give you rights over personal data held by an online service. Compress50KB does not maintain user accounts, image records, or form submissions, so there is ordinarily no application-level user record for us to access, correct, export, or delete. Limited technical data handled by infrastructure providers is described in section 5. If the service introduces a feature that requires personal data, we will update this policy before collecting it and request consent where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes to the website or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page will change when a revision is posted. Material changes will be presented clearly on the website before they take effect.
11. Contact
We do not currently operate a contact form or publish a support mailbox. Check the About page for the current support route; any direct contact details will be added there before they are used. Please never send an image or other sensitive material with a privacy inquiry.
